One Direction is sticking up for their bandmate Harry against his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift. Liam told "Vulture" at Monday's premiere that he felt it was unnecessary for Taylor to dedicate her Video Music Award to the person who inspired the song.
Liam said he felt Taylor should "concentrate on [herself]" and joked that he "was going to do a Kanye" during her speech Sunday night.
Also, ladies .. Harry says he's single!
Meanwhile, Harry says he's happy for his newly-engaged bandmate Zayn Malik. He called into Ryan Seacrest's radio show Tuesday morning, after celebrating the New York red carpet premiere of the boy band's upcoming documentary "This Is Us."
Harry says Zayn has yet to choose a best man to stand up for him when the time comes to tie the knot, and joked that he, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson "are all going to try to fit into one suit."
When asked about why his bandmates' girlfriends are rarely shown in "This Is Us," the 19-year-old said it wasn't an "intentional" decision to leave them out. Harry adds that One Direction has "never been a group that's lied about having girlfriends."
