UVU Basketball Game Closes With a Brawl Involving Both Teams and Fans

MOMENTS AFTER THE UTAH VALLEY UNIVERSITY BASKETBALL TEAM SCORED A KEY WIN -- OVER NEW MEXICO STATE, THURSDAY NIGHT -- A BRAWL BROKE OUT, WHEN A NEW MEXICO PLAYER THREW THE BALL AND HIT A UTAH VALLEY PLAYER.

OFFICIALS SAY THE FIGHT INVOLVED ATHLETES FROM BOTH TEAMS... AND FANS, WHO HAD COME OUT OF THE STANDS, TO CELEBRATE THE VICTORY.

UVU WON THE GAME IN OVERTIME.

ADMINISTRATORS AND SECURITY PERSONNEL BROKE THE FIGHT UP, WITHIN ABOUT 30 SECONDS.
