Utah's First-Ever Crow Hunt Coming This Fall

THE UTAH WILDLIFE BOARD HAS APPROVED A CONTROVERSIAL NEW CROW HUNT.

CITING A RAPID GROWTH IN THE BIRDS' POPULATION -- OVER THE PAST TWENTY YEARS -- THE BOARD VOTED TO ALLOW CROW HUNTING THIS SEPTEMBER... AND IN DECEMBER THROUGH FEBRUARY.

BLAIR STRINGHAM -- WITH THE DIVISION OF WILDLIFE RESOURCES -- SAYS THE BIRDS ARE A PARTICULAR PROBLEM, IN AGRICULTURAL AREAS.

THE HUNT WILL BE ALLOWED ONLY IN UNINCORPORATED AREAS.

UTAH ANIMAL RIGHTS GROUPS ARE ALREADY EXPRESSING THEIR DISPLEASURE WITH THE BOARD'S DECISION.
