Utah County Doctor's Murder Trial to Begin in Mid-October

A UTAH JUDGE HAS RULED, PROSECUTORS CAN NO LONGER REFER TO THE LATE WIFE -- OF A UTAH DOCTOR, CHARGED WITH HER MURDER -- AS A "VICTIM" ...BECAUSE OF UNCERTAINTY OVER HER CAUSE OF DEATH.

THE TRIAL -- OF DR. MARTIN MACNEILL -- IS SET TO BEGIN, OCTOBER 15TH, IN PROVO.

ALSO THIS WEEK, THE JUDGE OVERRULED OBJECTIONS -- FROM PROSECUTORS AND DEFENSE LAWYERS -- RULING, THE TRIAL MAY BE TELEVISED.

IT'S EXPECTED TO RUN FIVE WEEKS.

DR. MACNEILL IS ACCUSED OF DRUGGING HIS WIFE -- AND ALLOWING HER TO DROWNED IN A BATHTUB -- TO COVER UP AN AFFAIR HE WAS HAVING.
