Tooele County Weapons Incinerator to be Demolished

WORK WILL BEGIN SOON, TO TEAR DOWN A 3.7-BILLION DOLLAR ARMY INCINERATOR IN UTAH, THAT BURNED TONS OF DEADLY NERVE GAS AND OTHER CHEMICAL WEAPONS.

DEMOLITION OF THE INCINERATOR -- AT THE DESERET CHEMICAL DEPOT, IN TOOELE COUNTY -- IS SCHEDULED TO BEGIN NEXT WEEK.

OFFICIALS SAY THE LAST DEADLY CHEMICALS WERE BURNED THERE, TWO YEARS AGO.
