Search and Rescue Officials Warn Us to Steer Clear of Fast-Flowing Rivers

The last time we had a heavy spring snow melt -- across Northern Utah -- was two years ago.

In 2011, eight people drowned in state rivers and streams.

This week's unseasonably high temperatures have once again started bringing down lots of snow melt, from the mountains.

Officials say this is a critical time of year to avoid getting too close to fast-flowing waterways.

And make sure your kids stay even further away.
